The Apeejay Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT) is another product of the social thought processes of the rare visionary in Dr. Stya Paul, the president of the Apeejay Education Society (AES). Affiliations Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), to which the Institute is affiliated, was established by the Government of Punjab at Amritsar in 1969. It is both a residential and affiliating university. Spread over 500 acres in western part of the city, it has 90 affiliated colleges, 34 academic departments, and two regional centers.
